Indexing plungers are used to prevent any change in locking position due to lateral forces. A new locking position can only be set after the pin has been manually disengaged.
Material

Steel version:

threaded sleeve and indexing pin, free-cutting steel.



Stainless steel version:

Threaded sleeve 1.4305.

Locking pin hardened 1.4034.

Locking pin not hardened 1.4305.



Mushroom grip. thermoplastic.

Note
A screw-in washer can be supplied to aid screwing in the indexing plungers. The washer fits beneath the disengaged mushroom knob so that the carrier pins engage in the slot.
