norelem is expanding its range to include snap locks
Whether boat, motorhome or aeroplane: the new snap locks from norelem are suitable for a wide range of applications. Thanks to their flush installation, they take up very little space, are quick to fit and easy to handle – a convenient solution for securely closing hoods, hatches or doors, for example.
norelem has snap locks in various designs in its range: made of stainless steel and plastic, with fold-down grips, with a recessed knob and as a snap-in version. In addition, Bowden cables and releases are also available. All snap locks can be closed by pushing, and opened by pulling, pushing and turning, pushing and pulling or sliding and pulling, depending on the version. The range comprises a total of six different variants.
Snap locks with fold-down grip
The snap locks with grip are available from norelem in three variants: made of stainless steel with fold-down grip, made of stainless steel with fold-down grip and Bowden cable connection (for remote operation) and made of plastic with fold-down grip. They are available in two different sizes for different door leaf thicknesses and, thanks to their recessed grips, they can be installed flush in doors, hatches and hoods, for example. The grip is also pre-tensioned, which prevents rattling during use. All locks are also available with an integrated locking mechanism.
Snap-in snap locks
The snap-in plastic snap locks with grip are ideal when space is limited and can be installed without tools. By pressing down the grip, the lock is moved into the open position, allowing the door to be opened and, thanks to the stainless steel spring, automatically secured again when it is pushed shut. The snap-in snap locks are available in three different sizes for different door leaf thicknesses.
Snap locks with knob
norelem also offers plastic snap locks with a recessed knob. In one variant, the knob can be rotated, providing an additional security feature. Both versions are opened by pressing the knop so that it releases. To open the object, pull the lock or turn the knob and to close it, simply push it back in until the snap lock engages.

Secure and quick to install, robust and flush – the snap locks from norelem offer many advantages. They are ideal for areas where comparable systems could open again unintentionally. Regardless of whether the motorhome brakes abruptly or there are strong waves at sea – everything is reliably locked thanks to the snap function. The stainless steel models are corrosion resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use and available with a polished or matt finish. The plastic models also impress thanks to their high strength and temperature resistance. They are durable and can be used in a variety of ways.
